Job Summary
Relationship Banker role in the Greater Lehigh Valley (Trexlertown, PA) focused on acquiring, managing, and retaining client relationships within Chase branches. Responsibilities include delivering attentive service, meeting with clients in person and over the phone, understanding financial needs, tailoring product and service recommendations, educating clients on technology solutions (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), quickly learning products and procedures, collaborating with specialists to address complex financial needs, and adhering to banking policies and regulatory requirements. Requires strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills; 1+ year sales experience in financial services; high school degree or equivalent (college degree preferred); licenses and registrations (SIE, FINRA Series 6, state registration, Life licenses) with licensing support within 180 days; ability to work weekends/evenings and maintain risk/compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success
- Ability to create memorable client experiences
- Excellent communication skills (in person and phone)
- Ability to resolve client issues with attention to detail
- Ability to operate within risk parameters and complete required training
- Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses (must obtain via JPMorgan Chase licensing program within 180 days)
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
- Experience adhering to banking policies and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATM usage to assist clients
