Job Summary
Relationship Banker in a Chase Branch focused on acquiring, managing, and retaining meaningful client relationships. Responsibilities include delivering attentive, consultative service to understand financial needs, tailoring product and service recommendations, educating clients on technology solutions (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), and collaborating with a team of experts to address specialized financial needs while adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Strong communication, relationship-building, and a demonstrated ability to create memorable client experiences are emphasized, along with the ability to operate within risk parameters and complete required trainings.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire, study materials and support provided
- National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. Upon active employment, must register or update existing registration and comply with SAFE Act requirements
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
- Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators and related regulatory compliance
