Job Summary
Process customer financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier's checks, money orders, and funds transfers while maintaining and balancing the daily cash drawer. Open and close client accounts, answer product inquiries, and recommend services to enrich clients' financial lives. Provide exceptional customer service by modeling the FSB "Welcome" tenets of warmth, engagement, listening, and connection. Actively engage with corporate growth strategies, initiatives, and partners to support the Community Reinvestment Act through business development efforts. Comply with all company policies, laws, and regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act while maintaining strict confidentiality of customer information. Complete assigned OnCourse training courses and achieve a passing score by due date. Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and adaptability in meeting internal and external customer needs within a climate-controlled shared work area.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 months related experience in customer service, sales, and/or banking
- Working knowledge of standard office equipment
- Basic computer skill with working knowledge or ability to learn various office software including word processing, spreadsheets, 10-key, and general computer applications
- Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance
- Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators
- Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary
- Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management
- Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation
- Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
- Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
