Job Summary
Consult with Consumer and Small Business clients to collect income, assets, and credit information, then analyze data to develop customized plans for banking products and services. Deliver an exceptional client experience by embodying a client-first attitude while actively cultivating a strong referral network to acquire new relationships. Represent FirstBank through community activities and civic organizations to build and maintain business and social networks. Serve as a reliable back-up to the Area Manager, supporting key branch functions, team leadership during absences, and assist with teller transactions and operational needs. Partner with department partners to connect clients with expert resources and actively influence digital banking adoption through consultative product presentations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 4+ years of experience within retail banking with a solid understanding of banking products
- Proven success in building customer relationships and customer service
- Experience adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to branch scheduling needs
- Ability to demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior and confidentiality and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
- Respectful demeanor toward other associates and managers that promotes a positive and professional work environment
- Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations as applicable to your job duties
- Complete compliance training
- Adhere to internal procedures and controls
- Report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations
- Report any suspicious customer and/or account activity
