Job Summary
Relationship Banker responsibilities include greeting customers at the branch, understanding financial needs, recommending and cross-selling retail banking products based on client goals, leading teammates with coaching and training, handling opening/closing of accounts with policy-exceptions as needed, collaborating with other teams to meet goals, maintaining teller-function knowledge (processing deposits, cash handling), ensuring compliance with BSA/CIP and applicable regulations, and delivering excellent service as the main point of contact for clients. Requires strong customer service, communication, and knowledge of banking products and services.
Required Qualifications
- Listen to clients and provide exceptional customer service
- Process transactions based on customer needs
- Answer general banking questions
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook
- Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Physical Requirements: stand long periods, walk, sit, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, lift up to 50 pounds
