Job Summary
Relationship Banker (SAFE) in East Tallahassee handles a portfolio of consumer and business customer relationships, leads discovery-driven conversations to tailor banking and credit strategies, strengthens relationships to drive deposits, lending, and investments, and partners with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking teams to deliver integrated solutions. The role emphasizes guiding customers through digital self-service options, resolving account inquiries within authorized limits, and maintaining risk and regulatory compliance. The LP path is temporary pending licensing completion, with potential transition to the Relationship Banker (SAFE) role upon full licensing; credit and background screenings apply. The position requires working a schedule that includes most Saturdays and completion of FINRA and state licensing requirements. Candidates should bring proven relationship-building skills and the ability to educate customers on self-service and mobile banking to enhance satisfaction and retention.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ year of assessing and meeting the needs of customers or helping with issue resolution
- 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
- FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or FINRA recognized equivalents) sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration
- State Insurance license(s)
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam for certain states if applicable
- SAFE registration (required at the time of employment) and licensing prerequisites
