Job Summary
Relationship Banker at Chase Branch in downtown Los Angeles area focuses on building and managing client relationships through attentive service, consultative communication, and tailored product recommendations. You will educate clients on technology solutions (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), help clients address financial needs, collaborate with a team of experts, and ensure compliance with banking policies and regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes acquiring and retaining clients, delivering memorable experiences, and leveraging banking solutions to improve clients’ lives. Requires strong communication, relationship-building skills, and the ability to work flexible branch hours including weekends and some evenings.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMorganChase’s licensing program within 180 days of hire
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
- NMLS registration under SAFE Act of 2008 is required upon active employment (or update existing registration)
Additional Requirements
- Contains regulatory and licensing requirements including SIE, FINRA Series 6, state registrations, NMLS/Safe Act compliance
- Criminal conviction history review as part of employment contingencies
- Ability to obtain Life/Licenses and comply with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd-Frank requirements
