Job Summary
Relationship Banker at Chase Walnut Creek Branch: acquire, manage, and retain client relationships while delivering attentive, consulting-based service. Educate clients on technology solutions (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), tailor product and service recommendations, learn products quickly, and collaborate with banking experts. Role requires adherence to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and willingness to obtain required licenses within Chase’s licensing program. Requires strong communication, relationship-building, and customer-service skills; availability for branch hours including weekends/evenings. Experience in sales within Retail Banking or Financial Services and a high school diploma or equivalent are required; licenses and registrations (SIE, FINRA Series 6, state registrations, Life licenses) are minimum requirements; NMLS/SAFE Act compliance is required. Preferred qualifications include a college degree or military equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements
- All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMorganChase’s licensing program within 180 days of hire
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
- National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008
