Job Summary

Relationship Bankers build meaningful, long-term client relationships by providing customized financial solutions, educating clients on digital and traditional banking options, conducting client and business financial reviews, and maintaining a loan and deposit portfolio. Primary duties include opening new deposit accounts, originating consumer loans (and some small business loans), educating customers about internal partner services (e.g., Treasury Management), performing proactive outbound calls, developing a pipeline through in-branch and community outreach, and supporting community engagement and events. The role requires knowledge of consumer and business lending, cash handling, and the ability to understand cash flow and financial statements, with opportunities to act as a Bank MLO for mortgage-related activities where applicable.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • 2 years banking and/or demonstrated sales experience
  • 2 years developing current and new client relationships, achieving sales goals, and building referral sources in banking or retail environment with client service and cash handling experience
  • 2 years in a lending function with loan origination and processing functions
