Job Summary
Relationship Banker at Chase in West Chester, OH, focused on acquiring, managing, and retaining client relationships with banking solutions and technology utilization (Chase Mobile App/Chase.com). Responsibilities include delivering attentive service, meeting with clients in person and by phone, tailoring product recommendations, educating clients on technology, learning products and procedures, and ensuring compliance with banking policies and regulatory requirements. Requires 1+ year of sales in retail banking or financial services, strong communication skills, ability to build trust, and ability to work weekends/evenings; minimum high school degree with SIE, Series 6, and Life licenses or equivalent, plus NMLS registration considerations. Preferred candidates may hold a college degree or military equivalent and have mortgage/licensing-related qualifications per regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
- Ability to create memorable experiences for clients – elevate the client experience
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor features and benefits of products and services to clients with differing needs
- Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail – providing consistent client experience
- Operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including completion of required training
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements
- All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire, study materials and support provided
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
- College degree or military equivalent
- Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act
- This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators
- NMLS registration under the SAFE Act of 2008
