Job Summary
Relationship Banker at Chase Branch in Evanston, IL. Build and manage client relationships, advise on banking solutions, and collaborate with a team to deliver exceptional service while leveraging Chase technology. Responsibilities include meeting with clients in person and by phone, tailoring product and service recommendations, educating clients on digital tools (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com), and maintaining compliance with banking policies and regulatory requirements. Required skills include strong communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, risk awareness, and the ability to work weekend/evening branch hours. Education via high school degree or GED is acceptable; a college degree is preferred for some candidates.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
- Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire, study materials and support provided.
