Job Summary

Conduct financial conversations to identify customer needs and recommend sales solutions while processing transactions, opening accounts, and originating loans. Proactively prospect through outbound calling and community activities to meet individual and branch sales goals. Manage vault cash, settle ATM work, and perform quarterly audits if assigned supervisory duties. Advise customers on digital banking services including mobile banking, bill pay, and Zelle. Adhere to all bank policies, regulatory guidelines, and the SAFE Act requirements including background checks and NMLS licensing. Complete required trainings and maintain proficiency with customer relationship management systems and digital devices.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-2 year experience as a teller, banker, or equivalent retail sales or banking experience
  • customer service experience

  • At least 6 months cash handling experience
  • proficiency with technology and digital banking services
  • Microsoft Office, specifically word and excel
  • familiarity with technical devices including tablets and smartphones

  • ability to sit or stand at a workspace and use a computer or other equipment for prolonged periods of time

  • ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the office during the workday
  • ability to safely use standard office equipment and follow workplace safety procedures
  • Must attend and successfully complete trainings related to position
  • meet and follow all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act
  • successful completion of the required background checks
  • acquiring a Unique Identifier from the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
