Job Summary
Relationship Banker at Chase in Metairie, LA serves clients by delivering attentive, hospitality-forward service and leveraging banking solutions and technology to build and maintain meaningful client relationships. Responsibilities include meeting with clients in person and by phone, understanding financial needs, tailoring product and service recommendations, educating clients on technology tools (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), quickly learning products and procedures, collaborating with our team of experts to address complex needs, and adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes proactive client engagement, clear consultative communication, and risk/compliance diligence to ensure a high-quality client experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
- College degree or military equivalent (preferred)
