Job Summary

Relationship Banker position in the Baltimore market. Engages clients in the lobby to educate and assist with transactions through self-service resources (ATM, online banking, mobile banking) and efficiently processes cash. Builds and nurtures client relationships, connects clients to banking solutions such as lending and investments, and supports the client experience through effective communication and adherence to regulatory guidelines. The role emphasizes following established processes, achieving operational excellence, and collaborating with experts to meet client financial needs, with weekend/extended hours as needed. In-office role with in-person responsibilities at multiple Baltimore-area financial centers; requires ability to educate clients on self-service technologies and to identify client-specific solutions based on needs. The position may involve managing cash, client traffic, and outbound communications to further client relationships.

  • Will follow established processes and guidelines in daily activities to do what is right for clients and the bank, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations
  • Efficiently manages time and capacity
  • Focuses on results while acting in the best interest of the client
  • Must be able to work weekends and/or extended hours, which may include being scheduled at any financial center location within a reasonable distance

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or business-relevant Associate’s Degree such as business management, business administration or finance
  • One year of demonstrated successful sales experience in a salary plus incentive environment with individual sales goals
  • Six months of cash handling experience
  • Experience in financial services and knowledge of financial services industry, products and solutions
  • Experience collaborating to build relationships and deliver client-focused solutions
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms
  • Availability to work weekends and/or extended hours within a reasonable distance
  • Understanding of self-service banking technologies (ATM, online banking, mobile banking)
