Job Summary
Deliver attentive, friendly service to clients in person and over the phone, building lasting relationships by understanding their financial needs and tailoring product recommendations. Engage in consultative communication to anticipate client needs, educate them on technology solutions like the Chase Mobile App and ATMs, and connect them to specialized experts for complex financial matters. Manage assigned clients proactively while adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements including the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act. Work branch hours including weekends and evenings.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results
- Ability to create memorable experiences for our clients – elevate the client experience
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor features and benefits of products and services to clients with differing needs
- Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail – providing consistent client experience
- Operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including completion of required training
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam
- FINRA Series 6
- state registration (including 63 if required)
- Life licenses
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
Desired Qualifications
- College degree or military equivalent
- Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Federal Deposit Insurance Act
- Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act
- National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008
