Job Summary
Proactively engage with existing and prospective customers to identify financial needs, deliver tailored banking, lending, and investment solutions, and cross-sell products to meet sales targets. Prospect for new clients through networking, referrals, lead calling, and community engagement while resolving issues and educating customers on digital tools. Ensure an elevated, personalized customer experience across in-person, phone, and digital channels by addressing concerns and providing timely resolutions. Collaborate with team members to drive branch sales goals and support nearby locations as business requires.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED: or equivalent work experience
- Bachelor's Degree: in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education
- 3+ Years Experience selling products and/or services in an incentive-based environment
- 12+ Months Experience in Retail Banking sales, financial services sales or consultative relationship sales role in a related industry, with proven success in establishing new customers, deepening customer relationships and delivering results
- 12+ Months Demonstrated successful Santander experience related to the essential functions and responsibilities of the Relationship Banker role
- District Executive, District Operations Manager and Region President endorsement of performance
- 12+ Months Customer service experience within a high volume, fast paced and constantly changing environment
- Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring employer sponsorship to commence employment
- Ability to identify and escalate concerns of risk to appropriate channels
- Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Computer proficiency and basic math skills
