Job Summary
The Relationship Associate (RA) partners with the Sales team to achieve loan production goals through the establishment and maintenance of ongoing business relationships with investors and borrowers. The RA will manage the pipeline by assisting the Loan Officer and Relationship Manager in building files, collecting conditions, managing loan processes, and communicating status to customers. Key responsibilities also include basic loan structuring, reviewing files for completeness, and ensuring documentation meets lending criteria. Required qualifications include a minimum of 2 years’ experience in loan processing, attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in loan processing or similar role
- Preferably 1 year in private/hard money space
- Attention to detail
- Works well in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Outlook
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent follow-up
- Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Highly self-motivated to learn new skills and concepts
- Team player
