Job Summary
Conduct complex actuarial analysis within designated business segments to support pricing strategies for Casualty Reinsurance placements across Umbrella, Professional Liability, and Multi-line business lines. Prepare advanced research reports and projects presenting findings to drive business decision-making and financial planning. Deliver clear technical communication to both technical and non-technical audiences while maintaining rigorous documentation of methods and activities. Provide actuarial technical assistance to peers, senior managers, and external stakeholders, and mentor less experienced staff. Direct the development of actuarial tools using advanced computing skills in Excel and SAS. Requires a Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of experience and preferred ASA/FCAS designation.

- Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Associateship or Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS/FCAS) or in Society of Actuaries (ASA/FSA) designation
- comparable education/designation with relevant experience
- Sound knowledge of actuarial techniques and standards, as well as other business operations including financial, underwriting, legal, statistics, claims, sales, etc.
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and interact effectively with others within and outside of the organization
- Ability to motivate and mentor peers and motivate and train subordinates
- Advanced computing skills (MS Office Excel, SAS, etc.) with ability to build complex models
