Job Summary
Prepare and analyze quarterly Statutory, IFRS, and Solvency II financial reports for complex assumed reinsurance treaties and retrocessions. Conduct in-depth analysis of client-reported electronic data to ensure accuracy against treaty guidelines and provide clear explanations for reporting variances. Consolidate asset data for risk monitoring, perform forecast uploads, and review direct reports to ensure accurate financial documentation for internal and external audits. Communicate client issues and unusual reporting trends with potential financial consequences to stakeholders, while leading direct reports on special projects and implementing procedures to improve processing inefficiencies. This Full-Time role operates in a home or local office environment with a salary of $94,000-$127,200.
Required Qualifications
- BA degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 or more years of accounting experience
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
- Advanced user of Excel
- Intermediate user of Access and Word
- Competent user of Hyperion Reporting
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal direction from manager
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results
