Job Summary
Project Coordinator to foster communication between the Company and sub-contractors while managing project costs for Farwest Steel’s rebar contracts through accurate scheduling, timely contract modifications, and distributing submittals/subcontracts. Responsibilities include managing information flow, change management on multiple projects, setting up initial project files, preparing change orders, logging submittals, performing cost-impact evaluations, processing orders for the production team, providing the initial point of contact for customers, and assisting with periodic project billings. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of project scheduling and Reinforcing Steel Industry practices. Compliance requirements include pre-employment drug screening and background check; eligibility to legally work in the US (E-Verify). Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- A college degree or advanced courses in construction preferred
- Computer skills and ability to learn job specific software programs

- Ability to work successfully in high-pressure situations
- Valid driver’s license required
- Reliable and be ready to work on time daily
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check
