Job Summary
Substance Abuse Reimbursement Specialist to join Enlightened Recovery's billing team. Responsible for managing high-volume insurance collections and reimbursement for substance abuse and behavioral health services, including aging accounts receivable, denial reason analysis, and coordination with payers and providers. Requires experience in medical billing/collections, ability to review and resolve billing issues, enter patient details into billing software, review payer correspondence, and maintain accurate patient accounts. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years experience in medical billing or collections
- Out of Network Billing Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, time management and organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented and collaborative work style
