Job Summary
Coordinate and manage all aspects required to obtain prescription drug coverage for patients by coordinating cases with insurance companies, physician offices, and healthcare professionals. Submit documents and paperwork to insurance companies and public/federal funding programs while implementing the Financial Means Test to maximize patient coverage. Acquire in-depth knowledge of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms and report all adverse events to assigned units. Perform pharmacy processes once funding is obtained and complete other duties as required from time to time.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service, in an office setting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Professional / courteous / efficient telephone manner
- Proven ability to organize time, set priorities and multi-task in order to meet various competing work deadlines
- Candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry
- Working knowledge of automated warehouse operating system
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

- Bilingual (French/ English)
