Job Summary
Lead central market access strategies in China, shaping reimbursement and payment-related approaches to secure coverage and coding for Medtronic products. Roles include monitoring healthcare policy developments, identifying payer opportunities, collaborating with HEOR and cross-functional teams (product development, marketing, sales, regulatory, clinical, and business leadership), and delivering reimbursement-related guidance. Build and maintain relationships with national and industry stakeholders, influence policy discussions, and act as a strategic partner to leaders. The position emphasizes senior-level leadership with autonomous project delivery, mentorship, and the ability to drive strategic goals with long-range impact. Requires about 10 years of GAMA or Market Access experience in the medical device sector and a Baccalaureate degree (or equivalent) with related experience; an advanced degree with aligned experience is also acceptable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or degrees earned outside the United States that satisfy 8 CFR §214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- approximately 10 years of GAMA or Market Access experience within the medical device industry
- deep understanding of national and provincial reimbursement systems and access pathways
