Job Summary
Coordinate high-level complex reporting for Medicare cost reports and internal analysis of third-party settlement calculations. Prepare, evaluate, and review financial filings while ensuring consistent reporting across system entities. Lead Associate and Intermediate Accountants by reviewing their work and developing procedures to ensure regulatory compliance with government agencies. Research complex issues and analyze changes in laws to communicate impacts throughout the organization. Serve as the primary contact for regulatory correspondence and manage document retention, archiving, and storage. Participate in system teams addressing corporate structure changes and implementation projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Business
- Minimum of six (6) years of related experience
- Extensive knowledge of financial accounting principals as they pertain to financial compliance
- Solid leadership skills
- Communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
