Job Summary
Rehabilitation Veterinary Technician needed to join Ethos Veterinary Health's Veterinary Referral Center in Malvern, PA. You will be part of a large team of veterinarians and staff providing rehabilitation therapies and emergency/critical care services. Responsibilities include working closely with veterinarians to implement prescribed treatment plans, monitoring patient responses, updating records, maintaining treatment areas, participating in staff training and client education, and promoting rehab services at public events. Must have experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant, ability to restrain and lift animals, and effective communication with clients and staff. Certification in canine massage is preferred or willingness to pursue certification. Full-time position with compensation ranging from $20-$34 per hour, with higher pay for VTS; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, CE allowance, and more.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant
- Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Be able to restrain and lift companion animals of all sizes
- Be proficient in low-stress handling—positive reinforcement is to be used with patients at all times
- Be certified in canine massage or agree to pursue certification
- Be able to communicate effectively with clients and other staff members
