Job Summary
Rehabilitation Technician supports licensed Physical Therapists and PTAs by assisting in patient care and routine therapeutic treatments. Responsibilities include preparing patient charts for the day, cleaning and organizing the work area, observing patients during treatment and reporting progress, coordinating with therapy staff on planning and modifying treatments, performing open/close duties, and assisting with paperwork such as PT insurance verifications and charting. Requires education in a related field (Associates or Bachelors preferred) and 1-2 years of related experience; schedule is full-time with varying hours (Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and Sat 8:00 AM–1:00 PM) at the Woodforest Office in Montgomery, TX. Required Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors in a related field, preferred
- 1-2 years experience in a similar position, preferred
- Excellent patient service skills
- Ability to promote favorable facility image with patients, physicians, insurance companies, and the general public
