Job Summary
Transport residents to and from scheduled therapy sessions and the rehab gym, ensuring their safety and comfort during transit. Prepare, clean, and maintain treatment areas and equipment for physical, occupational, and speech therapists. Restock therapy supplies, monitor equipment for safety and cleanliness, and support documentation processes including filing and retrieving resident records. Communicate effectively with therapy and nursing teams regarding resident schedules and needs. Assist nursing staff with resident care consistent with CNA duties and perform other assigned tasks. Work 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Friday through Sunday, as a part-time position at Sky View Rehabilitation and Health Care.
Required Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in good standing in NYS
- Must hold CNA certification
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New York
- Must be available Friday - Sunday
- Schedule 7:30AM - 3:30PM
- Energetic, enthusiastic, committed, & passionate about quality care
- Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, & sometimes challenging residents
- Patience, a cheerful disposition, & willingness to assist any residents & co-workers
- Excellent communication, customer service, & organization skills
- Able to work well under pressure, flexible, & will work harmoniously with all staff
Desired Qualifications
- Prior rehab tech experience
