Job Summary
Rehabilitation Specialist providing direct, one-on-one residential support to individuals with serious mental illness to learn/regain skills for independent living and socialization. Responsibilities include ensuring medication safety and dosage, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individual service plans, providing transportation to medical appointments, advocating for clients, and documenting follow-up instructions. All direct-care staff receive mentorship from senior staff; role includes comprehensive training and access to tuition reimbursement and robust benefits. Requires high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; active driver’s license with low points and access to insured vehicle; availability for varied shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays). The pay rate is $19.31 hourly (annualized to approximately $40,161).
