Job Summary

Organise and run rolling 12-week rehabilitation programmes, delivering live stream and in-person group exercise classes while promoting self-directed activity via on-demand content and journals. Facilitate weekly 1-to-1 telephone conversations with every participant to coach goal setting, monitor progress, and provide emotional wellbeing support. Re-calibrate exercises based on participant improvements and identify any deterioration to trigger internal escalation processes. Capture outcome data accurately to track participant progress and support the charitable purpose. Work collaboratively onsite, centrally, and with the Charity team to aid recovery for beneficiaries with varying abilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Level 3 Personal trainer qualification
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults

  • Capability to re-calibrate exercises and intensities based on regular improvements demonstrated by changes in both effort and performance
  • Capability to identify any deterioration of participants and if necessary follow internal escalation processes
  • Capability to ensure reporting is processed within a specific timeframe
  • Capability to ensure outcome data is accurately captured
  • Capability to engage in 1to1 telephone conversations each week with every participant
  • Capability to offer coaching in terms of setting short term and long-term goals
  • Capability to understand restrictions
  • Capability to monitor progress

  • Experience working in a Rehabilitation Specialist position
