Job Summary
Conduct field outreach and support services for SMI clients, working 80% of the time visiting clients to review progress or assign additional supports. Collaborate with Case Managers and Clinical Coordinators to ensure community functioning needs are met. Maintain mobility and a valid AZ driver's license to travel across the 26 state-of-the-art facility locations. Requires a Behavioral Health Technician certification and CPRP within 12 months. Required Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Current AZ Driver's License (valid and in good standing)
- Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Fingerprint Clearance Care
- Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures
- Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) within 12-months of employment
- Ability to pass criminal background check for jail visitation/clearance
- 80% of time will being spent in the field working with or visiting with clients
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree or higher in a field related to behavioral health
- 1-year experience working with the SMI population with additional experience in multiple settings and levels of care, including both mental health and substance abuse
- 1-year experience in a behavioral health position providing outreach and engagement activities
- Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders
