Job Summary
Conduct field outreach and client visits to assist SMI individuals in obtaining or maintaining daily functioning supports. Collaborate with Independent Living, Housing, and Employment Specialists, as well as Case Managers and Clinical Coordinators, to ensure required community services are delivered. Review client progress and assign additional services as needed. This role requires 80% field time, mobility, and a valid Arizona driver's license. A Behavioral Health Technician certification and CPRP within 12 months are required. Required Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Current AZ Driver's License (valid and in good standing)
- Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Fingerprint Clearance Care
- Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures
- Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) within 12-months of employment
- Ability to pass criminal background check for jail visitation/clearance
- 80% of time will being spent in the field working with or visiting with clients
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree or higher in a field related to behavioral health
- 1-year experience working with the SMI population with additional experience in multiple settings and levels of care, including both mental health and substance abuse
- 1-year experience in a behavioral health position providing outreach and engagement activities
- Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders
