Job Summary
As a Rehabilitation Service Coordinator, responsibilities include ensuring compliance with facility policies, providing safe and efficient patient transportation, maintaining treatment areas, participating in department meetings, and communicating relevant information to staff. Candidates must demonstrate competence in various medical procedures, follow care philosophy concerning resident rights, and adhere to ethical standards including those set by APTA, AOTA, and ASHA. The role requires participation in company training and the ability to report patient concerns to supervising therapists.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of required compliance training and processes
- Ability to demonstrate competency with various modalities or procedures as allowed by Federal and State Practice
- Ability to obtain basic medical information (blood pressure, heart rate, O2 Saturations, etc.)
- Follow medical precautions for medically unstable patients, fractures, cardiac issues, neurological issues, diabetic conditions, and sensory impairments
- Adherence to APTA, AOTA, ASHA and State Required practice acts, code of conduct, ethics during professional practice as a Rehabilitation Therapy Aide
