Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' conditions and determine individual rehabilitative needs, then develop and implement personalized treatment plans focusing on mobility, strength, and functional outcomes. Guide patients through tailored therapeutic exercises and activities while employing modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy per established protocols. Educate patients and families on body mechanics and home exercise regimens, document progress meticulously, and prepare treatment areas by maintaining organized spaces. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and provide compassionate emotional support throughout the rehabilitation journey. Adhere strictly to ethical standards and patient confidentiality. This full-time role in Elizabeth, NJ, offers a competitive salary of $100,000 to $120,000 annually with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, plus retirement matching and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- A valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- Strong foundational knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the various therapeutic interventions pertinent to physical therapy practice
- Excellent communication skills

Desired Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in a rehabilitation setting
