Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to understand mobility challenges and functional impairments. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and progressive functional training for an average load of 7 patients daily. Provide ongoing sessions while educating patients and families on movement mechanics and home exercise programs. Maintain accurate records in the Electronic Medical Records system and stay updated on best practices in orthopedic physical therapy. Focus primarily on elderly patients and those recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or sports-related conditions.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapy license issued in the state of Oregon
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, families, and colleagues
- Ability to design and implement effective, patient-specific treatment plans based on assessments and ongoing evaluations
- A strong commitment to helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and a passion for improving their quality of life
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2 years of prior experience, preferably in an Assisted Living Facility or rehabilitation center
- Experience working with elderly populations or those requiring specialized rehabilitation care
