Job Summary
Deliver direct, patient-centered care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to achieve desired patient outcomes for individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or health conditions. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care based on scientific nursing principles while utilizing rehabilitation equipment to assist patients. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with hospital policies and HIPAA standards, and participate in department committees, surveys, and performance improvement initiatives. Adhere to the Texas Nurse Practice Act throughout daily duties. This full-time Day Shift role (36/36 hours) offers a salary range of $65,000 to $100,000, including a $20,000 sign-on bonus and $5,000 relocation bonus for candidates 200+ miles away.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, AD)
- CPR/BCLS certification
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Ability to input data into computer programs
- Familiarity with rehabilitation equipment and processes
- Strong ability to interact with patients and families while maintaining the standard of professional nursing
- Follow the standards of the Texas Nurse Practice Act
