Rehabilitation Consultant - Reg Psychologist or Rehab Counsellor

Job Summary
Manage a manageable caseload with support from Rehabilitation Assistants while applying clinical expertise to improve return-to-work outcomes. Partner with employers and employees to deliver injury prevention and workplace education programs, collaborating with injured workers, insurers, and healthcare professionals. Conduct initial, workplace, and functional capacity assessments to identify barriers and design practical solutions supporting recovery and sustainable return-to-work goals across schemes including Workers Compensation, CTP, Life Insurance, Comcare, and Department of Veterans' Affairs. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and primary internal supervision for new graduates or early-career professionals within IPAR's multidisciplinary team in Orange NSW.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
- General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for helping others achieve positive outcomes
- Empathy, resilience, and a client-centred approach
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A current NSW Driver's Licence
