Job Summary
Support planning, design, and compliance of rehabilitation activities by facilitating and managing design, scheduling, and quality control for civil drainage, bulk dozer push, and tailings capping. Conduct site inspections, develop solutions for site challenges, and deliver the short-term schedule while providing consistent onsite support to all departments. Undertake reconciliations of design against as-built outcomes, prepare construction reports, and manage external service providers to ensure a self-sustaining, non-polluting landform for closure.
Required Qualifications
- A high-level of proficiency in Deswik, CAD, 12D or Vulcan (or transferable design skills from a similar modelling software)
- Microsoft 365 suite
- operational understanding of GIS
- Tertiary qualifications in mining/civil engineering, and/or equivalent relevant knowledge and experience
Desired Qualifications
- Dozer push, truck and shovel experience
- Functional knowledge of rehabilitation requirements and/or civil engineering design
- Operational knowledge of Python, C++ or C# and utilising AI tools
