Rehabilitation Aides

Escort patients from the waiting area into treatment zones and assist them with exercise regimens as dictated by therapists. Clean and prepare the treatment area before and after each session, while managing soiled laundry with appropriate precautions. Track sets, repetitions, and weights to ensure exercises match therapist instructions, and assist with documentation of rehabilitation flow sheets and chart transcription. Acquire DME products as instructed and support the Rehab Manager in maintaining OSHA cleaning logs. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to facilitate patient care, and assist with scheduling, pre-verifying, faxing, filing, and answering phones. Attend required meetings to engage in the rehab culture.
