Rehabilitation Aide, Pediatric Speech Therapy - Springbrook Rehab, Full-Time, Days

Assist therapists with patient care by transporting patients, assisting with personal care needs, and monitoring patient conditions while reporting status to appropriate individuals. Prepare the rehab environment for care by cleaning and organizing treatment areas and stocking necessary supplies. Support patient transfers, bed positioning, and exercise prescriptions using safe body mechanics and proper technique as instructed. Communicate effectively regarding patient needs or status and attend department, team, and organization meetings as assigned. Maintain BLS certification and basic computer skills. This role supports the clinical team at Blount Memorial Hospital's Pediatric Speech Therapy department within Prisma Health, the largest not-for-profit health organization in South Carolina serving over 1.2 million patients annually.
