Job Summary
Perform routine therapeutic exercise programs, prepare treatment areas, and escort patients to sessions. Create educational materials for patients, manage registration and scheduling, and oversee daily operations supporting clinical practice. Lead orientation and training for coop students and undergraduate exercise science students, while making recommendations to management regarding program workflow. Order equipment and supplies from vendors, arrange repairs with biomedical engineering, and maintain treatment and storage areas. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field with 1-2 years of aide or tech experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study
- Previous aide/tech experience 1-2 years preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology
- Knowledge of infection control
- Understands proper functioning of equipment and its basic maintenance
- Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations
- Proficient with Microsoft office applications
