Job Summary
Rehab Therapy Supervisor oversees daily operations of the department and assists the Manager/Directors with initiatives. Responsibilities include personnel management, policy/procedure development and monitoring, program development and growth, ensuring licensure/certification compliance, accreditation readiness, and alignment with safety practices. Possesses strong understanding of the overall therapy workflow and assigns unbiased work by developing scheduled hours for staff to support the mission and values of Parkview Health. Requires licensure in PT/OT/SLP and relevant certifications; leadership and communication skills are essential to supervise staff and ensure quality therapy services.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold or be eligible to receive a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist license in the State where services will be provided
- State licensure must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment
- SLPs must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
- CPR certification or become certified within the first 90 days of employment
- If assigned to drive a company vehicle, a valid driver’s license; if using a personal vehicle, proof of insurance and license
- Minimum of three years experience as a physical therapist, occupational therapist, or speech-language pathologist; previous supervisory experience preferred
