Job Summary
The Rehab Technician III is responsible for residential shift leadership, overseeing the performance of Rehab Tech I and II team members in executing therapist-directed clinical interventions for patient rehabilitation. This includes monitoring patient safety, assisting with activities of daily living, and supporting community integration efforts. Key responsibilities involve establishing trust-based relationships, training new staff, managing client medication needs, and ensuring effective communication between clients and care teams. Required skills include empathy, team leadership, and a commitment to professional development.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D with three years of experience
- One year experience as a Hope Network Rehabilitation Technician or two years of experience in a human service agency
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to become certified in CPR/First Aid
- Commitment to scheduled shifts, assigned duties, and performance expectations
Desired Qualifications
- Certification as a CNA or a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or institution of higher learning
- Work experience in a licensed residential setting preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic computer skills
