Job Summary
Rehab Tech provides direct support to a pediatric physical therapy team in a clinical setting, assisting with physical therapy treatment, monitoring patients, and ensuring a safe, organized environment. Duties include aiding therapists with treatment needs, greeting patients, front-office tasks (registration, data entry, patient records), and equipment/space preparation and maintenance. Requires a high school diploma or GED (or related experience), CPR/AED/BLS certification (or ability to obtain), ability to stand, walk, and sit, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office/ databases), professionalism, and teamwork are essential. This part-time role requires coverage on Wednesdays 8 AM–5 PM and Fridays 8 AM–4:30 PM with additional weekday coverage, and offers PTO, holidays, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) options, CEU stipends, and opportunities for growth. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience/training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- CPR/AED/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Maintain confidentiality
- Understanding of or interest in physical therapy, kinesiology, exercise science, or physiology
