Job Summary
Greet patients, answer phones, and schedule appointments while assisting the front office coordinator with check-ins and charting. Prepare patients for treatment, provide routine modalities like hot/cold packs and ultrasound, and assist with supportive DME equipment under clinician direction. Motivate patients during exercises, clean and sanitize equipment, wash linens, and maintain the office area. This part-time role supports the outpatient rehabilitation clinic at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, where clinicians deliver top-tier orthopedic care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- Basic knowledge of equipment
- Ability to communicate with all levels
- Ability to be compassionate towards patients
- Energetic and team player
- Part-time status (less than 24 hours per week)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous rehab aide experience
- Interest in rehabilitation
