Rehab Tech - Outpatient Physical Therapy

Job Summary
The Rehab Tech supports the efficient clinical workflow of outpatient Physical Therapy by assisting Physical Therapists (PT) and Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA). Responsibilities include maintaining treatment areas, preparing for therapy sessions, assisting with patient care, and collaborating with other Rehab Techs to optimize coverage. Requires excellent customer service, professional communication with patients, family and clinical team, and adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, BBP, and other protocols. This is a full-time role in Port St. Lucie (Tradition) office with Monday–Friday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a clinical/medical setting is preferred
- Prior work experience as a Rehab Tech helpful
- Medical Assistant experience is helpful
- Must be cheerful, energetic and able to multi-task in a high patient volume environment
- Must be a self-starter, able to demonstrate initiative and apply learning to active clinic environment
- Must demonstrate outstanding communication skills in speaking to clinicians, patients and co-workers; must be able to take direction
- Computer experience is helpful
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Lifting, pulling, and stooping when assisting patients up to 300 lbs
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
