Assist physical therapists with patient care, including treatments, exercises, and procedures, while helping patients use medical equipment like walkers. Educate patients on regaining movement and managing pain, then clean and prepare treatment areas and equipment after each session. Ensure cleanliness and sanitization of facilities, including sterilizing therapeutic equipment before and after treatment, and maintain safety standards by properly disposing of hazardous materials and waste. Handle administrative duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office inventory.
