Rehab Tech

Rehab Tech supports the in-house therapy team by performing clerical tasks, maintaining documentation, coordinating therapy schedules with nursing and other departments, ensuring regulatory compliance (including physician signatures and quarterly CMS/state screens), and assisting patients and staff. Responsibilities include handling computerized documentation, organizing files, answering calls, maintaining treatment-area cleanliness and stock, and participating in department meetings and performance-improvement activities. Under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist per Medicare regulations and state law, Rehab Techs may assist with treatments. Key skills include strong organization, multitasking, effective communication, reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
