Job Summary
Rehabilitation Technician responsible for delivering direct and indirect patient-care and education under licensed therapists (PT/OT/SLP). Monitors patient responses to treatment, supports therapy teams, and performs administrative tasks such as maintaining environment of care, equipment cleaning, supply stocking, scheduling/registration, and onboarding/training of PRN support staff. Requires effective one-on-one communication, ability to work with diverse patient populations (pediatrics, adults, geriatrics), and willingness to work variable hours (holidays/evenings/weekends). Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or Health Sciences; CNA certification is preferred; prior hospital/clinic experience and proficiency with PC software. May coordinate or supervise volunteers and assist with billing-related tasks as needed. Lifting and physical requirements as described. EEO employer. Location: Fredericksburg, VA, USA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CNA Certification preferred
- Experience in hospital/clinic setting preferred
- Experience with pediatrics or specific populations preferred
