Under close supervision of a therapist, assist therapists in therapeutic interventions by preparing and maintaining treatment areas and materials, and by transporting patients as needed. Duties include preparing patient and treatment areas, maintaining environment and inventory of treatment supplies, cleaning and disinfecting equipment after interventions, securing patients to therapy equipment, changing linens, restocking linens, monitoring hydrocollator equipment and recording temperatures, and escorting/transferring patients to treatment areas while adhering to safety and quality standards. Regular attendance and effective communication are essential. The role supports patient care delivery in rehabilitation settings and requires ability to listen, understand, and convey information clearly, prioritizing patient needs and safety.
