Job Summary
Provide physical therapy treatments under licensed physical therapist supervision, including modalities, manual techniques, and common exercise techniques. Document employee and outpatient treatments as necessary. Educate patients and caregivers on therapy while incorporating their learning style preferences, then assess their responses. Maintain CPR or BLS certification per AH policy and complete all required vaccinations. This role supports our home health and hospice agencies serving California, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington, offering personalized in-home care to the entire community.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in therapy in an acute care environment, acute therapy unit and/or out patient setting
- Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in all applicable states of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Acknowledge that you have accessed and read the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices and understand the contents therein
